This 10 minute piece was made this May by a TV series called Earthrise, by Al Jazeera America, focusing on a wide range of efforts to address environmental concerns. (The Earthrise piece about urban farming in Detroit astounded me!)

Green Goodbyes lets you see some of the work being done in Massachusetts, specifically. The piece is centered on the story of Eva, who is planning ahead for her own funeral and wants it to have the best environmental impact possible. You can see folks working through the Green Burial Committee? and there’s a bit of footage in my studio.

Mourning Dove Studio is incorrectly referred to as a funeral home, but overall it’s a thoughtful, interesting presentation of the issues.
